By Laurent Castellani. A collection of 69 pieces 1/1, 5+ years of research weaving portrait photography with code and animation. After 25 years in communication, luxury and film, and 10 years of portrait photography (which I continue), this is a major turning point. Code and animation give my photography a second skin, bordering contemporary and crypto art. The title has two readings: the legal formula every author affixes to their work, and a personal gesture. After ten years shaped by my portraits' image rights, I free myself. Art rights-free in creation and distribution. A new art, yet one rising from a long gaze.

The file is locked. A cold overlay holds the portrait frozen — slowly it struggles to surface, like a corrupted hard drive trying to read. It never fully recovers.

404 error aesthetic. Three dithered red-black blocks corrupt the portrait like a broken render. Censorship as system failure.

Photographic bokeh bleeds across the portrait. The glitch is diffuse, not fractal — soft squares dissolve into blur. The identity is challenged, not destroyed. Rare.

Black and white. Film grain. The portrait desaturates into photographic silver. Not degraded — preserved. The identity fades quietly into the archive.

Phase 1 — Attribution
You receive a file sealed. Unique number. Status randomly assigned. Black screen. No information about the portrait. The file is in your wallet. The animation runs — but reveals nothing.
Phase 2 — Reveal
The portrait appears. The animation finds its meaning. Depending on status, some areas remain permanently censored.
FAQ
What exactly do I receive?
An ERC-721 token on Ethereum mainnet. Upon attribution: a file number, a status, an animation generated from your token ID. At reveal: the corresponding photographic portrait. Some pieces never fully reveal their subject.
Why do some files remain partially censored?
The right to image is the raw material of this collection. Censorship is not a flaw — it is the signature. EXPUNGED and SEALED pieces carry this legal constraint as an integral part of the work.
How many pieces will be issued?
The supply is 69. Each wallet may acquire up to 4 files. The actual supply will close before this cap, depending on holder quality. "The files are now sealed." will be announced at closing.
